The three members of the National Democratic Assembly - Azmi Bishara, Wasil Taha and Jamal Zahalka – met on Friday with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora in Beirut to discuss the implication of the war between Israel and Hizbullah.
On Thursday, the MKs visited Hizbullah's destroyed stronghold in southern Beirut where they expressed their solidarity with local residents.
The three are expected back in Israel on Saturday. On Wednesday they held talks in Damascus with Syrian President Bashar Assad, whom they warned of a possible large-scale Israel military offensive against his country.
In Beirut Bishara said Hizbullah's resistance in the face of the Israel's military offensive has "lifted the (Arab) nations' head."
Bishara congratulated the Lebanese people for their victory against Israel, the Lebanese daily A-Safir reported.
The headline of A-Safir's main story on Friday was a quote of Bishara: "Your victory lifted the nation's head."
Asked whether he is concerned by a probe that awaits him in Israel for visiting enemy states, Bishara said: "Let them try and jail us."
Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz ordered the police to interrogate the MKs about their visits to Syria and Lebanon upon their return to Israel.
Israeli law forbids Israeli citizens from visiting enemy states unless authorized by the prime minister or the minister of the interior. Offenders could face a sentence of up to four years.
