Pride parade to be held November 10 in Jerusalem
A compromise was reached on the World Pride parade in Jerusalem. Sources involved in the compromise – Jerusalem police, State Prosecutor's Office, the Jerusalem municipality, members of the Open House organization, and the Association for Civil Rights in Israel – decided to hold the pride parade on the 10th of November.
After three hours of discussions, the two sides came to a compromise, avoiding a petition in the High Court of Justice on the matter. The compromise was reached after the Jerusalem municipality took upon itself the task of the production of the event. Even the police agreed to secure the event. (Ynet)
