Report: Lebanese parliament head expected to present diplomatic initiative

According to a report by Qatar based newspaper “Al Watan”, an aid to Lebanese Head of Parliament Nabih Berri said that he was expected to reveal sometime Wednesday a surprising diplomatic initiative that he had recently formulated.
The report also said that Berri’s initiative dealt with “national dialogue” surrounding political points of conflict in Lebanon, the situation in South Lebanon, UNIFIL’s role and Hizbullah’s arms. (Roee Nahmias)
