Netanyahu: We will convince US to increase economic pressure in Iran
Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that the Likud will start to take action in the United States to increase economic pressure on Iran. During a meeting of the party's policy office in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu presented a new plan, similar to the economic boycott on South Africa's apartheid regime.
According to Netanyahu, "I intend to turn to the pension funds in the United States, and to say to them: 'Don't give even one dollar to the companies who do business with Iran. This had a snowball effect against the apartheid regime, and can have a snowball effect against the genocidal regime, against the regime of the ayatollahs." (Attila Somfalvi)
