Peretz: Ceasefire won't stop us from responding
Defense Minister Amir Peretz convened a special evaluation discussion following the terror attack in Eilat. Chief of Staff Dan Halutz and senior officials in the defense establishment participated in the meeting. Peretz instructed the IDF to prepare for military operations against the infiltration routes into Israel.
After the discussion, Peretz said, "We won't make concessions to any terrorist organization, and the ceasefire won't keep us from harming them." (Hanan Greenberg)
