Peres tells UN secretary-general Resolution 1701 must be implemented in full
Vice Premier Shimon Peres spoke with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon over the phone Tuesday and urged him to push for the implementation of Resolution 1701 and to deploy forces that would prevent the smuggling of arms from Syria to Hizbullah.
Ki-moon said he would work to see that the resolution is implemented. (Ronny Sofer)
