Report: Syria rejected Israeli offers for secret talks
A Syrian source said Damascus rejected a number of Israeli offers relayed by a third party to launch secret negotiations on the Golan Heights, the Qatar-based al-Watan newspaper reported.
According to the source, Syria’s response was that there was no need to conceal such talks from the Syrian citizens ‘because they want a comprehensive and just peace agreement with Israel.’ (Roee Nahmias)
