52 percent of Palestinians in favor of rejecting Quartet conditions
Fifty-two percent of Palestinians believe that the Palestinian unity government should reject the conditions set by the international Quartet, including their insistence on recognizing Israel.
A survey conducted by al-Najah University found that 45 percent thought that by sitting in the unity government and agreeing to international agreements, Hamas actually was recognizing Israel. 54 percent believe Hamas are after political status more than armed resistance to Israel. (Ali Waked)
