Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni met Sunday and agreed to continue working together under Olmert's leadership.
The agreement marks an end to the crisis between the two Kadima leaders that erupted last week following the publication of the Winograd report, and Livni's call on the prime minister to resign.
A statement released following the meeting between the two said that, "The prime minister and the foreign minister also dealt with current political issues, and agreed to promote the diplomatic process."
Earlier, Livni told reporters that the meeting with Olmert was for work purposes only. "All that I care about is the diplomatic issues on the agenda. Foreign relations are not a personal matter."
Prior to Sunday's cabinet meeting, Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai said that the situation between Olmert and Livni was unbearable, and that he regretted their conduct.
Immigration Absorption Minister Zeev Boim stated that "the history of the State of Israel saw many governments in which there were much more serious personal conflicts between leaders… These people know how to handle this and push personal matters aside when it comes to serious issues of state."
