Discovery of Herod's tomb 'will bring tens of thousands of new visitors'
The discovery of King Herod's tomb at the Herodium will turn the area into a site of global and religious importance and we must prepare for tens of thousands of visitors, Gush Etzion council head Shaul Goldstein said Tuesday.
"The discovery is another proof of Gush Etzion's direct link to the history of the Jewish people and Jerusalem," he added. (Ynet)
