Suspended President Moshe Katsav's lawyers have presented Attorney General Menachem Mazuz with a document containing new evidence against the women who complained that the president sexually assaulted them.
The document reviews all the allegations in the draft indictment against the president and presents new evidence regarding the complainants. The new evidence was collected since the first hearing held by Mazuz and depicts the women in a way which contradicts their credibility.
The document, which is more than 120-pages long, follows the claims presented by attorneys Avigdor Feldman and Zion Amir in the two hearings into the Katsav case held by Mazuz in May.

Justice Ministry confirms suspended president given chance to admit to having affairs with complainants
Sources who read the document have told Ynet that it could refute the allegations against Katsav.
The attorney general is expected to decide whether to indict the president in the near future, maybe even by the end of Katsav's term in July.
Last week, the Justice Ministry confirmed a Yedioth Ahronoth report that Mazuz had approached the president's lawyers and suggested that Katsav change his version and admit that he had an affair with the complainants.
Attorney General Menachem Mazuz told Katsav's lawyers that if Katsav were to admit to an affair, the rape charges would probably be dropped. In their place, Katsav would likely be charged with the less serious crime of having had consensual sexual relations with an employee.
