Hamas official warns Fatah from moving fighting to West Bank

A senior Hamas official in Syria warned Thursday the rival moderate Fatah movement from carrying the fighting with the militant group from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank.

Moussa Abu Marzouk, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau, also said that Hamas has talked with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah about a seven-point deal to stop the violence, but blamed some unnamed parties for blocking the deal.  (AP)
