Director of UNWRA operations in Gaza 'pleased with Israeli efforts'
Colonel Nir Peres, head of the Coordination and Liaison Authority at Erez crossing, met with John Ging, director of UNWRA (United Nation Relief and Works Agency) operations in Gaza, Sunday.
The two discussed the measures taken by Israel to provide humanitarian relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Ging, who criticized Israel's policy in Gaza in the past, said he was pleased with the efforts put forward by Israel. (Hanan Greenberg)
