Peres says Hamas wants to establish religious-fanatic state
President Shimon Peres met with Iceland's Foreign Minister Sólrún Gísladóttir on Tuesday. The two discussed the security situation in the Palestinian Authority.
“Israel is united, Right and Left, in its yearning for peace, through the understanding that the existence of true peace will only be enabled as part of a solution of two countries for two peoples,” Peres said. “Hamas’ master plan isn’t peace, but the establishment of a religious-fanatic state, a branch of Syria and Iran.” (Aviram Zino)
