Abbas denies talks of Palestinian state with Olmert

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas denied having a discussion with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state, through an agreement promising Palestinians 90% of the West Bank.
“Like the newspapers, I too learned of this from the media. I didn’t hear it directly from Olmert,” Abbas said. (AFP)
