A thousand participants 'demand justice' at Khatib's memorial service

Some 1,000 people arrived in Kfar Manda Sunday evening for the memorial service of Ahmad Khatib, a native of the Arab-Israeli village who was videotaped stealing a gun from a Jerusalem security guard Friday and shooting repeatedly during a chase in the Old City.
Many of the participants, who continue to claim police are lying about Khatib's involvement in the shooting, cried out against the Israeli establishment and carried signs reading "Try the murderers." (Ahiya Raved)
