France signing contracts with Libya, including for nuclear reactor

French president Nicolas Sarkozy said his country would sign contracts worth about $14.7 billion with Libya, describing them Monday as rewards for Tripoli's improved behavior.

 

Sarkozy said the accords include one for a civilian nuclear reactor for a desalination plant. He was speaking after a meeting with visiting Libyan leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi. (AP)
