Abbas' spokesperson: IDF operations impede negotiations
Spokesperson for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Nabil Abu Rdeneh, strongly condemned IDF operations in the Gaza Strip Tuesday, and stated that Israel’s actions serve to impede negotiations with the Palestinians before they even begin.
“IDF operations in Gaza are a heinous crime and serve to obstruct negotiations between the two sides,” said Rdeneh. “Israel’s insistence on upholding its current policy of targeted assassinations, illegal settlement and incursions into Gaza indicates that it is insincere regarding the peace process.” (Ali Waked)
