Palestinian sources in Gaza said that the Islamic Jihad's al-Quds Brigades have claimed responsibility for the attempted attack near Erez crossing, earlier Monday.
The Palestinians reported that following the incident, IDF forces began operating in the adjacent Palestinian area. (Ali Waked)
