Report: France signs nuclear cooperation deals with Arab countries

France has signed a nuclear cooperation agreement with several Arab countries; the London-based Arab-language al-Shark al-Awsat newspaper quoted French diplomatic sources as saying Wednesday.

According to the report, the move "does not mean (France) will sell nuclear materials for peaceful use to these countries." France, added the sources, does not intend to use the nuclear issue for diplomatic leverage. (Roee Nahmias)
