6,500 policemen to deploy in preparation for Gaza protest

Southern District Police Commander Uri Bar-Lev held a security briefing Monday, in anticipation of the mass protests planned in Gaza.

Bar Lev ordered 6,500 police officers to deploy along the protest's area, with tactical headquarters set up in three sectors: Erez Crossing, Kibbutz Beeri and Ashkelon. (Yonat Atlas)
