UNRWA: Gaza violence - 'horrific'
UNRWA Commissioner-General Karen Abu Zayd said on Sunday that she was 'horrified' by the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
"I am horrified at the violence engulfing Gaza, where the death toll of innocent civilians, including children, rises each hour," said Abu Zayd in a written statement. The commissioner-general also condemned the rocket attacks on Israel, which she said "lead to a senseless loss of civilian lives." (Ynet)
