Hamas spokesman: Talks possible only if aggression ceases, crossings open

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu-Zuhri denied Thursday that a Hamas delegation discussed an Egyptian initiative for a ceasefire with Israel. According to Zuhri, there is no place for any ceasefire or stability in the area prior to reaching an understanding with Hamas.

"Nothing has been offered to us so far and out position on the matter is clear… when all forms of aggression towards us stop and the crossing are open, them we will talk," said Zuhri; adding any agreement reached without the organization will be in vain. (Ali Waked)
