Gift from America: Eight-year-old Osher Twito, who sustained serious wounds and lost his leg two months ago after being hit by a Qassam rocket, will be able to move around more easily now that he received a surprise gift from an evangelical group.

all-terrain vehicle. Group members wanted Osher to feel that he is one of the strongest kids in his neighborhood andshow others that he is moving on with his life, the group's founder and president, Brenda Giles, told Ynet Thursday.

Giles, who lives both in Israel and in the United States, said that she turned to various Israel supporters after hearing about the injuries sustained by Osher and his older brother Rami. One of the people approached provided a donation that allowed the group to purchase the gift for Osher, she said.

'We love her'

Now that he has the all-terrain vehicle, Osher would be able to move around the neighborhood more easily, Giles said.

Rafi Twito, Osher's father, told Ynet his son was overjoyed with the unexpected present.

"Brenda surprised him with this gift, and he yelled out 'Brenda, Brenda! Wow'. Usually Brenda brings him sweets and other presents," the father said. "We placed Osher on the ATV and held him, so that he would feel that it's his."

According to Rafi Twito, Giles has become a part of the family by now.

"Brenda has been accompanying us for a while now, " he said. "We love her very much and thank her and the members of her community who help us every time. I will be glad to host her during our holidays. It's good that they help terror victims with all kinds of things."
