50 illegal Palestinian residents arrested in Tamra

Police officers arrested more than 50 illegal Palestinian residents during the early hours of Wednesday morning in the community of Tamra in the western Galilee. Fake Israeli identification cards were found on seven of the detained residents.

A local police official reported that during their arrest, the detainees had in their possession property suspected to be stolen as well as NIS14,000 ($4,019) in cash. Four commercial vehicles with fake license plates were also found during the search. (Ahiya Raved)
