Syrian FM: Direct talks possible if Israel is earnest
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Almualem said that direct talks between Israel and Syria are possible, and could come into being if Israel portrays earnestness during the indirect talks mediated by Turkey.
"We hope the Israeli side shows earnestness during the talks, so that we can move on to direct talks," Almualem said. (Reuters)
