Tutu tells Haniyeh fire on Sderot must stop

South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who heads the UN delegation investigating the death of a Palestinian family from IDF fire in 2006, met with Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh and told him that "the firing of rockets on Sderot must stop."

Following their meeting Tutu said that "in order to achieve peace in the region, enemies must learn to talk to one another, as we did in South Africa." Apparently the issue of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit was not discussed. (Ynet)
