US trooper removed from duty after handing out Christian coins
The US military says an American service member has been removed from duty after Iraqis said Marines were handing out coins promoting Christianity in Fallujah.
Sunni officials in the former insurgent stronghold say the coins were given to Iraqis at an entry checkpoint and had biblical verses written on them in Arabic. (AP)
