The general secretary of Peace Now, Yariv Oppenheimer, responded to reports of the announcement to be made by Housing Minister Ze'ev Boim regarding the construction bids in Har Homa, saying that “the announcement is like a nail in the Annapolis peace summit’s coffin.”
According to Oppenheimer, “the only legacy Olmert’s government may leave is the expansion of settlements and turning Jerusalem into an unsolvable problem.” (Efrat Weiss)
