China's state-run media say floods kill 169 people

China's state-run media say flooding has killed 169 people in 20 provinces and the western region of Xinjiang.

The China Daily newspaper and Xinhua News Agency reported the figure Tuesday as forecasters warned that heavy rain expected in the next couple days could bring more floods. (AP)
