Palestinian PM calls for calm after Gaza rockets

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said on Tuesday it was crucial for calm to be restored after a truce in the Gaza Strip was shaken by rocket fire and the killing of two Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

"It is essential for the ceasefire, for calm to be sustained," Fayyad told a news conference at a conference in Berlin. "Whatever damage has been done to the process, that damage should be undone as quickly as possible." (AP)
