Sari Nusseibeh: Palestinians should waive right of return

Sari Nusseibeh, head of the Al-Quds University is in Jerusalem, said Wednesday that the Palestinians should waive the right of return should they be able to secure a Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital, in any future peace agreement with Israel.

In an interview to the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Quds al-Arabi, Nusseibeh said he believed that waiving the right of return "is a sacrifice any muslin would be willing to make for the al-Aqsa mosque." (Roee Nahmias)
