State Comptroller visits Ashkelon to assess Gaza evacuees’ situation
State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss surveyed Monday the city of Ashkelon and the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council as well as a few factories in the area. Lindenstrauss said that one of the purposes of his visit was to examine the situation of the Gaza pullout evacuees.
Ashkelon Mayor Roni Mahatzri asked Lindenstrauss to check on the decision made to establish a carbon power station in the city. (Shmulik Hadad )
