Syrian organization: Assad has no legitimacy to conduct talks with Israel
An official in Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood organization criticized the indirect talks being conducted between Israel and Damascus and said that President Bashar Assad does not have legitimization to hold these talks.
According to one of the officials, the Syrian government was not elected according to the constitution and is not permitted to conduct negotiations in the name of its nation. (AFP)
