Syria says did not agree to place Russian missiles on its territory
A senior Syrian source said Thursday that the reports that Syria had agreed to deploy a Russian Iskandar missile system on its territory were false, the official SANA news agency reported.
The source added that the issue was not even discussed in recent talks between Syrian President Bashar Assad and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. (Roee Nahmias)
