Bomb found after top Chile finance officials speak

Chilean police defused a bomb planted at the headquarters of a business group just hours after Chile's economy minister and Central Bank president addressed a forum there, local media said on Friday.

Police official Julio Gordon told local television and radio the bomb was defused and taken for analysis. A police spokesman confirmed an operation had taken place at the building of the Federation of Chilean Industry, but declined to give further details. (Reuters)
