Peres to meet with Mubarak at Sharm el-Sheik on Thursday
President Shimon Peres will leave for Sharm el-Sheik in Egypt on Thursday for a meeting with President Hosni Mubarak. The two will discuss the issue of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, advancing the peace process between Israel and its neighbors, strengthening Israeli-Egyptian ties and security and political issues connected to the two countries.
In addition, the two will discuss the international economic crisis and the possible effects it will have on the Middle East. (Ynet)
