2 Palestinians injured by IDF fire
IDF force operating in refugee camp near Nablus wounds Palestinian youths throwing molotov cocktails and stones at troops, medics say one seriously injured
Palestinian sources reported that a young man was seriously wounded and another one lightly injured by IDF fire during a clash in the Fara refugee camp near Nablus.
The sources said the military operation was aimed at apprehending a wanted man from al-Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad's military wing.
The IDF force entered the camp on Saturday morning and was greeted by young men who hurled rocks and molotov cocktails at the troops.
A 23-year old man was shot in the chest by soldiers who identified him. A medic, Adnan Ghawanmeh, said the man is in serious condition in a local hospital. A 17-year old was also lightly injured.
According to Palestinian sources the incident was terminated without arrests. On Thursday another Palestinian was seriously wounded in the Fara camp during an attempt by the IDF to detain a wanted man who managed to escape the forces.
