Iraqi government cancels meeting to discuss US-Iraqi pact

A government adviser said the Iraqi Cabinet has canceled a meeting planned to discuss the US-Iraqi security pact that's under negotiation.

Sadiq al-Rikabi says Sunday's extraordinary meeting was canceled because proposals for amendments to an earlier draft were still coming in. He says the Cabinet will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday. (AP)
