Following Gaza attacks, trade strike in east Jerusalem, West Bank
Following the IDF attacks against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a partial trade strike has been declared in east Jerusalem. In al-Tur Arab youths set large garbage bins on fire. Police are deployed in the area to prevent riots from developing.
In Ramallah and other West Bank towns some merchants are closing their places of business in solidarity with residents of the Strip. (Efrat Weiss and Ali Waked)
