Abbas: Fatah won't take Gaza by force
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Fatah had no intention of retrieving power in the Gaza Strip by force and at the expense of Hamas.
"We will not agree to end the Palestinian strife through use of weapons and the dismantling of Hamas, but only through talks, and all we want right now is an end to the aggression," Abbas said after his meeting with French president Nicolas Sarkozy. (AFP)
