Palestinian medical sources reported Saturday that eight Palestinians were killed by an Israeli tank shell in Jabalya, a refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip.
The fatalities are believed to be members of the same family.
The IDF has yet to comment on the report.
According to medical sources in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli offensive has claimed the lives of some 800 Palestinians, half of whom are believed to be civilians.
The IDF announced Saturday, as in the three previous days, that there will be a three-hour humanitarian pause in the Gaza fighting.
The military will hold its fire between 1 pm and 4 pm, in order to allow the Strip's residents to stock up on essential provisions; unless imminent danger is detected.
