A senior member of royal family says he is certain that one day there will be movie theaters in the conservative kingdom.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's who owns Rotana, a popular network of Arabic satellite channels airing movies and music videos, says cinemas and more Saudi movies are inevitable and have a "positive" social role in Saudi Arabia. Alwaleed, whose company produced "Menahi," the first Saudi movie, added in Sunday's statement that a new movie can be expected soon. (AP)
