Lieberman: Civil marriage not first priority
Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman told his party members that his party would place at the head of its priorities the bestowal of extra rights on discharged soldiers. Second on the list is the alteration of the system of government, with civil marriage coming in third, he said.
Shas has announced that if Lieberman would satisfy himself with finding a solution for marriages between non-Jews living in Israel the two parties would have no difficulty participating in the same coalition. (Attila Somfalvi)
