Palestinian teen killed after throwing firebombs at settlement

IDF soldiers open fire at two Palestinians who hurled Molotov cocktails at homes in Beit-El; one assailant killed, another wounded

A 16-year-old Palestinian was killed Friday evening and another sustained mild injuries from IDF fire after they threw Molotov cocktails at homes in the northern part of the West Bank settlement of Beit-El.

The injured Palestinian was evacuated to a hospital in Ramallah for treatment.

Earlier Friday, a Palestinian armed with a knife infiltrated the Jewish community of Beit Hagai in South Mount Hebron and confronted two members of the settlement's emergency squad. He was shot to death shortly after lightly injuring one of them in the leg.

According to residents, the terrorist was less than 20-years-old.

Last month a Palestinian was killed after throwing Molotov cocktails at IDF vehicles travelling near the settlement of Halmish. The soldiers chased the Palestinian down and shot him dead. His accomplice, who was inured by the IDF fire, was evacuated to an Israeli hospital for treatment.

A few months prior to that incident, a Palestinian teen was killed after hurling a firebomb in the Beit-El area.
