Obama says supports adding sexual orientation protections to hate-crimes law
US President Barack Obama met Wednesday night at the White House with Judy Shepard, mother of Matthew Shepard who killed over his sexual orientation.
In the meeting, Obama reiterated his support a bill which would add sexual orientation and gender identity protections to the federal hate-crimes law. The bill has passed the US House of Representatives in April and now awaits the Senate's approval. (Ynet)
