MK Akunis: Netanyahu likely to renew negotiations with Palestinians soon
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will likely call for on Palestinians to renew negotiations with Israel without preconditions, MK Ofir Akunis (Likud), a close associated of the prime minister's, said on Saturday.
Akunis added that an independent Palestinian state could turn quickly into a second 'Hamastan', under Iranian influence, and as such, be an existential threat to Israel. (Roni Sofer)
