Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that the plan to renew a train line connecting between the southern city of Eilat and central Israel would be renewed.
Speaking at a special cabinet meeting in Beersheba, Netanyahu said that the line would serve as a "an overland bridge for goods between Asia and Europe, and will open the entire south for passengers' traffic." (Roni Sofer)
