Lebanon: Explosion in Hezbollah weapons depot
A Lebanese security official says explosions in the south of the country were caused by a blast in a Hezbollah weapons depot.
The blasts in the southern village of Tibnin came on the third anniversary of the monthlong summer war between Israel and the militant group and triggered widespread panic among residents. The depot was housed in an abandoned building and was used during the 2006 war, added the official who spoke on condition of anonymity in line with military regulations. (AP)
