State tells court Fatah delegates do not pose security threat

The State Prosecutor's Office has asked the High Court of Justice to deny a petition filed by Knesset Member Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) and right-wing activist Itamar Ben-Gvir, who have called for the arrest of wanted Fatah men attending the Palestinian movement's congress in Bethlehem.

The State said in its response to the court that Israel had approved the arrival of those who do not pose a security threat to Israel. (Efrat Weiss)
